The Radcliffe Camera, Oxford
£39.00
What a magnificent view the Radcliffe Camera is. Named after its benefactor Dr John Radcliffe (1650–1714) it forms part of the world-famous Bodleian Library. Under Radcliffe Square, out of sight of the students and tourists who pass through the square every day, are over half a million books, housed on two subterranean floors, connected to the main Bodleian Library by a tunnel (The Gladstone Link) and a book transport system.
